A visual designer and art director, Mario Rullo is a founding member of Vertigo Design.
He has been working in the field of Visual Design for over 20 years, particularly within the fields of Brand Image and Advertising.
Many of his projects for famous brands and companies have been published in journals about Visual Design and displayed in international exhibitions and conventions.
He teaches Visual Communication at the ISIA University in Rome (where he is also a member of the Academic Council), as well as the ISIA University in Pescara and the RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, where he is also a coordinator for the graduate course in Visual and Innovation Design.
From 2002 to 2008 he taught Industrial Design to undergraduates at the “La Sapienza” University’s department of Architecture.
In 2004 he helped organise and manage the international workshop on the theme of packaging, in collaboration with the “Ludovico Quaroni” department of Architecture.
He has also held lessons and seminars on visual communication at the SVA_ School of Visual Arts and Iowa State University.
He is a professional member of AIAP (The Italian Association of Design and Visual Communication) and a member of BEDA (The Bureau of European Design Associations).
In 2003 he helped found the magazine “Progetto Grafico”, and since then has published numerous articles in this magazine, as well as being their editor until 2011.
